About Us

Sellindge Steam Special  was started in 1971 by Les Birch after the Elham Rally was discontinued.  Since that time the Sellindge Steam Special has grown, first into a two day event and then into a three day event.  This year we are going to widen the appeal and have added "Country Show" to our title as we want to involve the wider community and give the family an even better experience.

Contact us - we would particularly welcome entries from crafts, sales of local products, fundraising stalls for local charities, local performers and bands.

Our Work

To promote understanding of rural activities and crafts both past and present. To raise money for local charities - over the last 42 years, we have given over £100,000 to charitable organisations.
